39th Annual Meeting and Musculoskeletal Imaging Course...
Course Description
The 39th Annual ISS Imaging Update Course provides a comprehensive musculoskeletal imaging course comprising two parallel programs which run concurrently. One will focus on imaging sports injuries while the second will cover wide-ranging themes including musculoskeletal tumors, trauma, arthritis, intervention techniques and metabolic bone disease. The course will include lectures by orthopedic surgeons and pathologists speaking on the interrelationships between pathology, imaging and clinical orthopedic surgery. In addition there will be a dedicated one day Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course offered by the leading international experts in musculoskeletal ultrasound.The course will be delivered in English with simultaneous translation into Italian.
Course purpose
At the completion of this course participants will be able to:
1. Optimize performance of musculoskeletal imaging;
2. Comprehend latest updates in imaging of musculoskeletal disease including
sports injuries, trauma, musculoskeletal tumors, trauma, arthritis and
metabolic bone disease.
3. Comprehend the pathology of musculoskeletal diseases.
4. Understand new developments that are occurring in the field and emerging
technologies
Target audience
The target audience for this refresher course includes general radiologists,
musculoskeletal radiologists, orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists,
pathologists, and allied health care workers with special interest in the
diagnosis and therapy of musculoskeletal disease.
